36 Year Tradition to Continue….

Monarc Industries, manufacturer of the original “Mine Duty” Conveyor Wing Pulleys, Founder of the 1 ½” round contact bar. In 1981 founder Bob Miller recognized the need for a local manufacturer to serve the needs of the growing aggregate industry on the West Coast. Miller founded Monarc Industries on three principles: Build the highest quality-most durable product in the market; be there for your customers (24/7 emergency service); and Operate an ethical business.

Today, Monarc is recognized as the premier manufacturer of Conveyor Drum and Conveyor Wing Pulleys offering the “Original” Mine Duty, Heavy Duty and Standard Duty, with all three grades coming in above Sema standard. Monarc is able to produce and deliver a pulley the same day when breakdowns occur…No other company comes close to this commitment to their Customers.

2003 Bob Miller passed away and his wife Geri Miller continued to operate Monarc in the tradition Bob was so passionate about. In 2008 Geri Miller passed the Family Business to her Son in Law, Doug Bergen and Kent Hayden. Though the sale price was not disclosed both sides were very pleased. Miller concluded by saying; “Bob would be very proud and happy”.
Bergen and Hayden invested heavily in the business. Now, Monarc is vertically integrated completing all operations in house.

In May of 2015, Grandson to Bob Miller was hired on as the General Manager of Monarc Industries at this time Hayden transitioned out from his position as partner. Brad Bergen is now the third generation of family to operate Monarc industries. Brad says “I feel truly honored to have such a great opportunity, and will continue the legacy, while looking for continued growth through process improvement and modern technology.” Monarc is offered on over 300 bearing houses throughout the United States and is looking to increase partnerships with our key distributors. Our direct buy programs we offer, for OEM customers, will be a strong pursuit for Monarc Industries in the upcoming months.
